Japanese celebrities banned from saying Palworld

Tokyo Sports reported that some talent agency sources have asked their talents not to mention the name of the game. According to them, they did this to avoid a reaction from The Pokemon Company.
We have told our talents not to mention Palworld on social media or in public. This was done out of consideration for Pokémon as an agency. This decision was made with potential future collaborations in mind.
Since its release on PC and Xbox last month, Palworld has had a lot of success. This cannot be separated from the gameplay and character designs that are similar to Pokemon games. This has led to accusations of plagiarism.

In January, The Pokémon Company broke its silence regarding Palworld, and said that it was investigating whether it violated its intellectual property rights.
According to Microsoft, Palworld was the largest third-party Game Pass launch to date. The Xbox version peaked with nearly 3 million daily active users.
