Call of Duty 2025 is a Semi Futuristic Black Ops 2 Sequel?
Insider Gaming has reported that “Project Saturn”, the internal name for Call of Duty 2025, will take players back to the future.
According to Insider Gaming, Call of Duty 2025 is currently in development as a direct sequel to the latest game Call of Duty: Black Ops set in the year 2030.
Insider Gaming adds that there is speculation Call of Duty 2025 is likely a response to fan criticism describing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III as DLC for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.
In November 2023, Bloomberg revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III only had 16 months of development due to a lack of planning from the top brass and internal changes that put Sledgehammer Games under pressure.
As for other details of Call of Duty 2025, Insider Gaming notes that the game will also have an overhaul of its movement system, the return of the classic ‘pick 10’ create-a-class, a shootout game mode, and a round-based zombie mode.
