Recent internal documents reveal that Call of Duty games have generated around 800 million USD for PlayStation in the United States and around 1.5 billion USD globally in 2021.

Call of Duty Generates 1.5 Billion USD For PlayStation In 2021
In the document submitted by Jim Ryan to the FTC for the Microsoft trial, which was poorly redacted, it was mentioned how much Call of Duty was worth for PlayStation alone.
Specifically, the Call of Duty franchise “directly generates more than 800 million USD” for PlayStation in the United States in 2021, with 1.5 billion USD globally.
The figure jumps dramatically when taking into account the average annual spending of Call of Duty players for PlayStation hardware, accessories, subscriptions, and services. The Verge claims that the redacted figure appears to be 15.9 billion USD per year.

In 2021, more than [14?] million users (by device) spent 30% or more of their time playing Call of Duty, more than 6 million users spent more than 70% of their time on Call of Duty, and about 1 million users spent 100% of their playing time on Call of Duty.
In 2021, Call of Duty players spent an average of [116?] hours per year playing Call of Duty. Call of Duty players spend more than 70% of their time on Call of Duty by spending an average of 296 hours on the franchise.

In addition, the document also confirms that the current marketing deal between Sony Interactive Entertainment and Activision only covers one Call of Duty game in 2023.
The last game covered by the contract is the title Call of Duty which will be released in late 2023.
