August 9, 2025 – Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon has revealed that Mortal Kombat 1 sales top 6.2 million copies worldwide.
“With over 6.2 million games sold, we’re still committed to refining Mortal Kombat 1 to be our most balanced game,” wrote Boon on its social media.
Mortal Kombat 1 is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store). Below is the description of the game:
